Shop Manager

Tradesmen International is seeking qualified candidates for a shop management position. This position requires adept knowledge within the heavy equipment construction and mechanical industry. Compensation includes a competitive salary based on experience, 70,000 to 90,000 per year as well as comprehensive benefits and incentive programs.??


Specific Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:




  • Ensuring proper equipment maintenance


  • Parts purchasing


  • Maintaining all required documentation


  • Controlling shop costs?


  • Inventory control?


  • Optimize equipment utilization in all field operations and assist in minimizing any equipment downtime?


  • Coordinate repairs with the mechanics and personnel in the field?


  • Set schedules for shop personnel and monitor their daily activities?



Recommended Qualifications, Experience?& Education:




  • 10+ years of experience?in heavy equipment and mechanical background


  • Knowledge of the construction/heavy equipment industry


  • Strong communication skills required


  • Ability to interact with co-workers and vendors in a hands-on manner


  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills



Preferred Experience:




  • Experience repairing loaders, dozers and excavators


  • Experience with mud cleaning systems and mud pumps?


  • Knowledge on directional drilling?


  • Experience maintaining and repairing the following brands: Komatsu, Caterpillar, John Deere and American Augers?

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
